Why the name Camp Wanago? First of all I thought we could have a lot of fun with the name! Sort of like - I wanna go to camp or do you wanna go? The name also refers to the great commission - go and make disciples. It’s a chance for kids to have a lot of fun, and make new friends.

Hi, let me introduce myself!

I’m Julie. I started Camp Wanago last summer and I’m excited for our second year!

I am an elementary music teacher with lots of vision, passion and experience with kids, growing leaders, cheering people on and having a lot of fun.

In the past I have worked as Children’s Director at Trinity Church Streetsville for 10 years where I started and grew Camp Trinity. I have also worked in Brazil where I worked with kids and teenagers in a project - teaching, encouraging and believing in young people!
